   Hi everyone,

   Yes in Sri Lanka We had a war for many years now we gain peace; Yes, war is half of the story, it remains many circumstances specially for women. Half of the majority of women became widows or lost their bread winners in the families. Therefore they have to struggle for housing and sometime they have to hold back due to…

   Hi everyone,

   Yes in Sri Lanka We had a war for many years now we gain peace; Yes, war is half of the story, it remains many circumstances specially for women. Half of the majority of women became widows or lost their bread winners in the families. Therefore they have to struggle for housing and sometime they have to hold back due to various problems as follows:

   1. The women lost their homes and husbands due to the war living in IDP camps lost their houses and also the lands they belonged. Some lands can not be identified after the war. There’s no way to find out there lands and they are still fighting for those and some times due to various reasons they have to hold back.

   2. Some of the women now not having a proper income to rent a house and no place to keep the children secured. They can not feed and school the children without a proper income.

   3. In the areas of non war committed, women lost their husbands and their only bread winners in the families as they were in the armed forces and also some of them were having their businesses and employments in the war related areas.

   4. Without a steady income any women will never get a house for rent even. Because the owners know they will not received the rental properly..

   This is the situation women are in can we suggest it for a proposal please?
