On November 29th, the UN special rapporteur, Raquel Rolnik, conducted a working visit to Recife (Brazil). She visited the areas affected by preparation for receiving the FIFA 2014 World Cup, held meetings with government and civil society representatives, and attended a seminar on legacies from the World Cup and rights violations.
