Special Rapporteur participates in a meeting in Geneva and conducts new mission during June and July

From June 27th to1st July, the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Adequate Housing Raquel Rolnik will participate in Geneva in the Special Rapporteurs’ Annual Meeting.

The agenda includes discussions on special rapporteur’s methods of work (such as missions’ follow-up, financial support of special rapporteurs’ work, etc.), meetings with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, members of other special procedures, representatives of the regional offices of the High Commissioner, with the permanent missions of countries and non-governmental organizations.

Then, between 9th and 19th July, Raquel Rolnik will visit Algeria, where she will conduct one more mission as UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Adequate Housing.
