(English) Human Rights Standards on Housing, Land and Property rights of populations affected by Typhoon Yolanda

(English) On March 20, 2014, the Special Rapporteur on adequate housing Raquel Rolnik and the Commission on Human Rights of the Philippines, made public a joint Human Rights Advisory (CHR-A-2014-001) on Human Rights Standards on Housing, Land and Property rights of populations affected by Typhoon Yolanda.

The aim is to guide relevant national and local governments, as well as affected communities and other stakeholders about a human-rights based approach in the context of post-disaster response and reconstruction.
