Open letter from the HRC Special Procedures mandate holders on the Rio+20 summit

In an open letter to the States negotiating the outcome document of the Rio+20 summit, the mandate holders of the Human Rights Council Special Procedures called on them to incorporate international human rights norms and standards. They also reminded them that accountability should be at the core of such document; therefore, Rio+20 should ground global human rights commitments and guarantee that citizens can monitor the commitments made by their governments.
