Free webinar: “On the Edge: Improving HPRP Implementation”

On Wednesday, February 9, at 2:00 p.m. EST, the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty will host a webinar to discuss topics explored in “On the Edge: How HUD Can Improve the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program.” The report offers an in-depth analysis of the program, assessing its effectiveness and making recommendations for future HUD homelessness prevention efforts. It is based on a survey of 121 service providers one year after HPRP funds were made available.

Right to housing legal challenge launched today

Everyone in Canada has the right to a home – and the federal government has a responsibility to realize that right. The Wellesley Institute is providing policy support to the new coalition, including expert evidence on funding and legislative decisions by the federal government over the past two decades.
